The new Orangeville Flyers will hold its Rookie Camp this weekend at the Brampton Powerade, putting hopefuls through a series of scrimmages and on-ice workouts.

Those who have already registered for the camp should be advised that registration is taking place between 5:30 and 6 p.m. on Friday evening. Participants are reminded to bring along their Permission to Skate forms.

The camp format has been altered slightly, with players benefiting from an extra two-hour skills session to show the coaches what they can do. This extra session will replace the fitness testing.

Camp times (for all players):
Friday, June 3 5:30 to 6 p.m. - registration.
Friday, June 3 7 to 9 p.m. - Scrimmage #1
Saturday, June 4 10 a.m. to Noon - Scrimmage #2
Saturday, June 4 2 to 4 p.m. - Skills/Goaltenders session
Saturday, June 4 7 to 9 p.m. - Scrimmage #3
Sunday, June 5 3 to 5 p.m. - Scrimmage #4

There are still a limited number openings for defencemen and forwards. No more goaltenders are being accepted.
